According to ComputerWorld’s Forecast 2012 survey, which interviewed 353 IT executives, IT staffing will increase in 2012.  In fact, nearly 29% of the IT leaders polled said they plan to increase hiring through next summer.  This is a 45% increase in hiring expectations over the past two years.

In the next year, only 17% of the IT leaders surveyed expect a decrease in hiring, and 54% think it will remain the same.

What’s your take on 2012 hiring? Is this Hype, and you don’t expect an increase in hiring in 2012, or is this Ripe, and you agree with this forecast?  We’d love to hear your thoughts below in the comments!
