In the Frost & Sullivan report: Meetings around the World II: Charting the Course of Advanced Collaboration, the firm measured workplace departments’ use of collaborative tools.

It found human resources is the least to use them. In advanced collaboration use, HR falls 60% behind R&D and sales and 50% behind marketing, investor relations, and PR.  Since, by definition, human resources is about utilizing the power of people, should it embrace collaborative technology more?

What’s your opinion – is this Ripe, and HR is missing the boat on collaborative technology tools, or is this just Hype?
