According to The Global Survey of Collaboration in the Enterprise by Kelton Research, 44% of firms want communications and collaboration technologies to pay for themselves in the first 24 months. Yet in the same report, 42% of those respondents say they don’t measure cost benefits.

Many benefits of collaboration are hard to quantify (i.e. morale, work satisfaction). With that in mind, do you think the conflicting statistics reflect acceptance that some values derived from collaborative tools are not measurable? While at the same time, companies wish they could be?
