According to IT staffing firm Modis, which operates in 70 cities in North America, the list of the top seven cities to find IT work in 2011 is out.
The company tracks the locations where demand for full-time contractors and full-time permanent IT workers has been strongest since the start of the year. Apparently, the company is not just looking at the largest markets with the most clients and biggest populations, but actually looking at the cities that are really experiencing growth – greater than it has in the past.
The top seven cities to find IT work in 2011:
- Houston, Texas
- Washington, D.C.
- Columbus, Ohio
- Detroit, Michigan
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Edison, New Jersey
- Boston, Massachusetts
