At its annual Symposium/ITxpo, Gartner analysts offered several warnings and predictions, making the case that IT managers are facing a period of “unprecedented uncertainty,” and even warned that we are about to enter another recession.
Gartner also urged IT leaders to “reimagine” their departments and prepare for a “post-modern world” driven by information, collaboration and mobility.
So, what do you think about Gartner’s predictions? Is this Ripe, and you agree with the fact that we are about to hit another recession, and IT leaders should begin rethinking their strategies? Or do you think this is Hype, and you haven’t seen the data to support this prediction?
