Computerworld talked with IT managers and discovered six key skills they wish their newest hires had picked up in college:

  1. Knowledge of business basics
  2. Experience with systems integration
  3. Emerging technologies enterprise
  4. The tech basics
  5. Familiarity with legacy systems
  6. The ability to work on a team
