The decision of whether to use a private cloud has to do with the companies need. Some say only companies with more than 1,000 servers and hundreds of applications should use a private cloud solution. Whereas a company with less servers and applications would be better off with a public cloud solution. Further they suggest that as you migrate your company to a private cloud it is important to realize that private clouds are highly individualized making the cloud creation process different for each company.
