The cloud has its obvious advantages; it reduces costs, increases flexibility and streamlines time usage. Tasks that used to take weeks to complete can now be done in hours. Do these clear advantages outweigh the security concerns?

A survey by CIO.com gives insight to the actual usage of the cloud, indicating 82 percent of US companies are using it in some capacity. But 54 percent of companies still listed cloud security as a top priority for 2012.

What do you think? Is the cloud security a justified concern and this is ripe? Or should businesses trust the cloud and this is hype?
