Even though there have been security complaints about BYOD, it has worked its way into the daily life of many employees across the country. More than half of the companies polled by IDC let their employees use their own devices, and they even support the devices. BYOD allows employees to do their best work while they are in the office and at home, by using the devices they know best.
And another, even bigger trend might be coming right behind, BYOS (bring-your-own-services). BYOS would allow employees to use their own personal web services in order to do their work more efficiently and effectively. By working with services that employees know best and can work with best they will also be able to get their work done quickly and perhaps even produce better results.
