Dr. Timothy Chou has been a leader in bringing enterprises to the cloud since 1999 when he returned to Oracle to work for Larry Ellison as the President of Oracle On Demand. During Dr. Chou’s tenure, many businesses chose to deliver their enterprise applications as a cloud service.

After leaving Oracle, Dr. Chou returned to Stanford University and started the first class on cloud computing. He has also appeared in various publications including Forbes, Business Week, The Economist, and the New York Times as well as on CNBC and NPR. Dr. Chou has also authored numerous books, including “Cloud: Seven Clear Business Models.”

Logicalis is providing CIOs and IT pros with an opportunity to talk with Dr. Chou during a live webinar on November 19th at 2 p.m. Eastern. He will discuss how cloud computing is fundamentally transforming the way companies conduct business. Attendees will also have the opportunity to converse with Dr. Chou in a live Q&A session following his presentation.

The webinar is ideal for those in IT whose job is not about components, networks and data centers but rather aligning technology with business objectives. Dr. Chou will discuss how to address the challenge of users that want on-demand access to compute resources to solve their real-world business problems.

Today’s users want technology that can be both delivered and consumed in the most cost-effective and efficient ways possible to meet their increasingly complex demands. Dr. Chou will demonstrate how the cloud fits that bill.
