Plenty of companies are transforming their desktops with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), an infrastructure creating a space outside desktops, tablets and other devices that allows you to securely store and access data anywhere.
- VDI lasts longer and costs less than a traditional desktop
- VDI is easy to patch and upgrade
- VDI encourages remote work, resulting in higher productivity.
Many experts say VDI isn’t for everyone (at least not yet).
What do you think: does VDI success lie in choosing the right model for your business, or is it just Hype?
