Can video conferencing really take the place of face-to-face interactions?  Is saving time in airports and on airplanes worth the investment?

Here are some perks to video conferencing/telepresence:

  • With video conferencing, there are no transportation costs.
  • With video conferencing you get back the half a day or more of productive business time you lose during the journey and wait time in airports.
  • Video conferencing can provide your employees unity between separate places of work and international locations, allowing them to work together more effectively.
