Have you been neglecting your IT help or service desk? You’re not the only one. Many companies have neglected their service desks, and even Gartner analyst David Cappuccio said, “IT service desks still struggle to provide adequate IT support.”
So maybe it is time to find a new way to use the service desk. Land O’Lakes, the company that produces butter, has recently used the cloud to manage their IT service desk. This has improved their service desk drastically, making it quicker and more effective. And it would seem that upgraded help desks are needed to meet the demand created by the consumerization of IT.
